The FPSmeter is a free tool to measure your game server performance. The tool measures the FPS value, the latency and the packet loss to get the servers performance. After this the Quality Index will be calculated. At the ranking the performance of the different game server providers are represented.
Currently we support the following games: Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Minecraft (Spigot). More games will follow.
The Quality Index is a algorithm to calculate the performance of your game server. It uses all available measurement values. You will get a value between 0 and 100. 100 is the best value.
FPSmeter is currently hosted at the Interxion Frankfurt, only a few meters from the DE-DIX away. If your game server provider is also located in this area you will see that the server has very low ping.
No, the original FPSmeter from Fragaholics has been closed down. This project is only using the old domain and the same idea.
To measure your Minecraft Server you need to start Spigot. Only Spigot supports the /fps command at the moment. This is important for the measurement.
For using FPSmeter.org with your Just Cause 3 MP Server please install the required server modification. The mod can be downloaded inclusive documentation under https://github.com/BirknerAlex/FPSmeter-jc3mp.
